Un livre qui nous donne envie de peindre. Je l'ai acheté et ai tenté de peindre comme Monet, avec le calque qui permet de reproduire sur la toile l'ébauche au crayon de papier. Au final, j'ai plutôt peind comme ... moi. C'est à dire que vouloir reproduire à l'identique un tableau de maître, à moins d'être un très bon faussaire, est impossible. Donc, à l'arrivée, on voit bien la filiation entre les deux toiles, mais on s'aperçoit que le maître avait une aptitude à peindre les coquelicots qui n'est vraiment pas si simple que cela.Bref, si ma réalisation n'est pas tout à fait à la hauteur, il n'en reste pas moins que les 31 étapes proposées aident à progresser.Une fois le plus gros du travail fait, j'ai ajouté ma touche personnelle et somme toute, pour un premier essai, je ne suis pas mécontent.Le livre n'est pas là pour nous apprendre la technique de la peinture à l'huile, donc ne cherchez pas comment utiliser vos huiles, les diluants etc, bref, les trucs à savoir. Non, là vous avez un modèle et pas à pas, vous le reproduisez. C'est pas mal foutu, en somme... pour les novices.
